Bellydance for Healing

Bellydance for Healing is a unique and wonderful bellydance class. It combines ancient bellydance movements with simple, yet highly effective, healing practices from around the world.
Gentle stretching, deep breathing techniques and body awareness exercises are just some of the healing techniques woven into this beginner-friendly, uplifting class. Also, the pace is unhurried; we practice all movements slowly and with mindfulness. If you’ve ever taken a Chi Gong, Tai Chi or Taoist movement class, you may recognize some of these movements in Bellydance for Healing.
It’s not all healing practices, though - just a sprinkle of them! There are hand circles, hip bumps and shimmies galore. Veils and hip scarves. Laughter and GREAT music.
Women of all ages (18+), shapes, sizes, and musical/rhythmic/dance abilities are welcome to attend. It’s a very social and positive class. Come join the fun!
